Birthday Parties
Swap soft play for fresh air and let children explore, discover and play in our beautiful natural surroundings. Our experienced staff will lead exciting outdoor activities before everyone gathers for a birthday picnic with family and friends.
Whether they’re searching for mini-beasts, building shelters or toasting marshmallows over a campfire, it’s a birthday they’ll remember.
What’s included?
- Two hours of instructor-led outdoor activities
- Choose from a range of seasonal activities, including:
- Pond dipping
- Mini-beast hunting
- Shelter building
- Fire lighting
- Marshmallow toasting
- And much more!
- Free play on our log trail and mud kitchen
- 30 minutes afterwards for your birthday picnic (supervised by accompanying adults)
- Exclusive access for the birthday family 30 minutes before the party to set up and 30 minutes afterwards to tidy away
During colder months, birthday food can be enjoyed indoors.
Party Times
We offer birthday parties:
- Weekends
- Morning: 10:00am – 12:30pm
- Afternoon: 2:00pm – 4:30pm
- Friday afternoons (after school)
Prices
- £260 for up to 20 children
- Additional children: £10 per child
- Maximum party size: 30 children
Food & Facilities
Families provide their own food and decorations.
Limited kitchen facilities are available, including:
- Oven for reheating food
- Refrigerator for storage
- Counter space for preparing and serving food
Booking & Payment
A deposit is required to secure your booking and should be paid at least two weeks before your event, unless otherwise agreed.
Deposits can be paid by:
- PayPal (south.finance@groundwork.org.uk – please use reference TV0878 INC-PCON1)
- Cheque (payable to The Groundwork South Trust Ltd)
- Cash
The remaining balance is payable on the day of your party.
Private Hire

Iver Environment Centre is available to hire for a range of private events, with every booking helping to support our environmental education and conservation work.
Our centre and surrounding green spaces provide a peaceful and distinctive setting for:
- Private celebrations
- Community events
- Corporate away days
- Workshops and training sessions
- Outdoor activities
- Filming and photography
